About Us

The East End Community Center of Brookhaven, Mississippi is a small but focused place dedicated to helping the community make positive growth. We are designing programs and opportunites to highlight and meet the needs of those in the community.

In 2018 we began the re-zoning approval process to use 907 E. Independence St. commercially as a community center. With dedication and perserverance, we kept our plans before the City Planning Commission and the Board of Aldermen and in October 2021 they gave their approval. In response, we focused efforts on transforming the once café into the East End Community Center, a cherishable resource for programs, workshops and training - free to the community.
